The UniCam could be described as a look into the personal life of the star of The Unicorn With An Attitude movie series where a digital camera installed on top of a computer is taking pictures of the Unicorn as this creature does whatever. I could go into how it's a wonderful experiment to show how someone would behave if a camera was on that person or creature all of the time. I could get really pretentious and explain how the UniCam makes a strong personal and political statement on how we, as a human race, can be easily manipulated into becoming voyeurs like a bunch of passive sheep whenever someone willingly lives his or her life in front of a camera 24 hours a day/7 days a week and yada, yada, yada...
But, to be honest, I only did this site as an extension of the Unicorn With An Attitude movie Voyeur Eyes Only (originally created in 1997) in a dubious attempt to gain publicity for this site. Like the Voyeur Eyes Only movie, this site is an unauthorized parody of the once controversial but now defunct JenniCam site (click here, here, here, here, and here to see what the fuss was all about) as well as other numerous cam sites (such as AnaCam, STV Live, izzicam.com, Fabulous Disaster, BaddGrrl's Domain, and Dixie Peephole) where you can delve into the lives of total strangers who, if given the chance, probably wouldn't even consider socializing with you in person. Hopefully you'll get a few cheap laughs out of this. But if you wish to pay for your laughs, then consider joining the UniCam!
