Yeah, I know it's been over three years since my last entry. If you guys had taken the time and trouble to join the UniCam, I would've written more often. If you had even made the occasional tip or donation in order to provide the webmaster with an incentive to provide more content to Twisted Unicorn.com on a regular basis, I would've written at least twice a month. And if you had answered the plea to Aid Kim, I would've written several times a week.
However, since you guys are a bunch of cheapskates, you're going to take whatever you can get for free—which isn't much! (Remember that old saying "You get what you paid for?" Well, it's true in this case.)
I originally did this site in response to JenniCAM, a site that became popular in the mainstream media simply because a webcam took pictures of a woman named Jenni 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and she actually earned money doing this. I figured that if she can do it, I can too!
But, after seven years online, Jenni has pulled the plug on her webcam on New Year's Day, 2004. But the UniCam is still going strong. In fact, if all goes well, I expect the UniCam to live longer online than JenniCam ever did. And if that previous statement makes me arrogant, well so be it! It's my site and I can be as arrogant as I want!
My only wish is to make as much money from this site as Jenni did in her prime. That would be really cool if that happened. Then I could make frequent trips around the United States and Europe like she did and make an appearance as a guest on The David Letterman Show.
Just show me the money and I'll not only make more entries in this Thought Journal but I'll add different images to my own webcam! And don't bother sending me e-mails saying that I'm begging for cash too much. Jenni used to write on her site about how she needed the money and some of you managed to dig into your wallets to satisfy her demands. If you can tolerate Jenni's demands for cash then you can tolerate my demands as well!
And if you think my monetary demands give me an attitude, well just remember there's a reason why I'm known as The Unicorn With An Attitude!
